Calendar-year blend and step selection
The selected year uses 25% of the prior scale at the chosen January–March step and 75% of the selected year's scale at the chosen April–December step. The two separate step menus prevent an automatic longevity advancement.
Salary sources and projections
The 2024 and 2025 values reproduce publicly posted salary schedules from the internet for JG-8 through JG-24. The 2026–2030 scales apply 4.5%, 4.0%, 3.5%, 3.0%, and 3.0% sequentially, rounding each new scale to the nearest dollar.
Hourly, comp, and goal method
Hourly pay equals the applicable annual salary ÷ 52 ÷ 35 hours. The optional April 1 split prices each entered hour at its actual date-range rate. Goal mode uses the blended calendar-year rate.
